After the 4th reactor exploded and the Chernobyl park got irradiated the place was described as haunted. 

What is nuclear energy

I had no idea, but nuclear energy has to do with atoms splitting apart.Nuclear energy is the energy inside the nucleus of an atom(Atoms are tiny particles that make up everything in the universe). There is a huge amount of energy that holds atoms together making an enormous amount of energy when they are combined together this is called fusion. The sun uses fusion to produce energy.

Chernobyl

In 1986 in chernobyl the 4th reactor of a nuclear power plant exploded. Presently there is just over 500 residents in Chernobyl, but before there were about 15,000 residents. The nuclear power plant released extreme rays of radiation making it almost impossible to live there.

Intro

Nuclear Energy is pretty new to me. The reason I am researching nuclear energy is because I want to learn more about it and I know that there was a nuclear explosion in Chernobyl which made many mutated creatures and radiation, making it very hard to live there. I would like to make sure that this doesn’t happen anywhere else.
